Remove Members from a Controlled Type DAO

This Feature is only available in CONTROLLED type DAOs

Controlled Type DAO's grant special permissions to the Swarm Creator, allowing the Swarm Creator to perform special actions that no other member can perform in the Swarm.

In a Controlled DAO, the Swarm Creator is free to Remove Members to the Swarm at anytime without making a proposal by clicking the remove member button (TRASH CAN ICON) from members table under the "Voters" menu (Members can also be Voted out of the Swarm with a proposal).

How to Remove Members from a Controlled DAO

Once a member is removed from the Swarm, they cannot be brought back into the Swarm.

Click the Remove Member Button (See Above) from the "Actions" column of the Swarm's members table

1. Open the "Voters" menu

2. Click the Remove Member button (trash can icon) to open the Remove Member interface (See Below)

Clicking the Remove Member will open up the menu as shown below

Confirm you wish to remove the user and remove them

Once you reach the Remove Member interface shown above, simply confirm your choice and click "Remove Member", which will run a transaction to remove the member from the Swarm.

Once a member has been removed from a Swarm they can never be added to the Swarm again.
