# Adjust Consensus Threshold (Weighted)

Adjust how much Weight is required to pass consensus

Weighted Type DAOs have 2 thresholds that must pass in order for a proposal to reach consensus.

In a weighted DAO a certain amount of Weight must vote in favor of a proposition, as well as a certain number of people.

Creating a "Adjust Consensus Threshold" Proposal at a Weighted DAO will adjust how much weight is required in order for a proposal to reach consensus.

## How to Adjust Consensus Threshold (Weighted)

1. Select the "Adjust Consensus Threshold" Proposal Type
2. Adjust the slider to the amount of weight required to pass a proposal

Take note of how much weight (quantity) is actually required to pass a proposition as you adjust the Slider- This value changes as more assets are deposited into the Swarm.
