Create a new proposition at your Swarm

Proposals are how you interact with your Swarm and make it do things.

Whenever you create a proposal, it will appear in your Hive for the rest of your Swarm members to vote over, and, if your proposal reaches consensus it gets performed.

Create a proposal whenever you want your Swarm to perform an action.

Types of Proposals

Swarms come with several built-in commands for you to make proposals with, each one performs a different action:

• Add Member

• Remove member

• Transfer/Withdraw

• Swap

• Add Liquidity

• Remove Liquidity

• Adjust Consensus Threshold

• Adjust Voter Consensus Threshold

• Adjust Minimum Voting Time

• Adjust Daily Limit

• Edit Charter

• Poll

When you create a proposal, your fellow Swarm members get to vote over the outcome of the proposal. If consensus is reached and enough members vote in favor of your proposal, the proposal passes and instantly executes on the blockchain.

Likewise, if enough people vote against your proposal, nothing happens.

Proposals also expire- When a proposal expires, it fails and nothing happens.

How to Create a Proposal

1. Log in to your Swarm

2. Select the "Proposals" Menu

3. Click "New Proposal"

From the "Proposals" menu, select "New Proposal" to create a new proposal.
