# Edit Charter

Create a Edit Charter Proposal

## About Swarm Charters

Create a Edit Charter proposal to set your Swarm's Charter.

Feel free to type whatever you want and describe your DAO in it's Charter, or nothing at all if you wish.

Once you create a Charter, a "Charter" button will appear on your Swarm's homepage for the public to view your Charter.

If you choose not to create a charter, then no "Charter" button will appear on your Swarm's homepage.

## How to Edit Charter

1. Select "Edit Charter" as your proposal type.
2. Fill out and style your Charter however you would like.

## Viewing a Swarm's Charter

Once you create a Charter, a "Charter" button appears on your swarm:

1. Click the "Charter" button to view your Swarm's Charter once it has been created.
