This feature is available to CUSTOM type DAOs only
Consensus is the point at which a proposal passes and executes on the blockchain, also known as a Quorum.
With a Swarm, members create proposals to command the Swarm, and then other members vote over the proposal- When consensus is achieved, the proposal passes.
Adjusting consensus is like adjusting how much people have to agree with each other over a proposal before the Swarm will do something.
In a CUSTOM Swarm each action has it's own consensus threshold. Choose the consensus thresholds for each action the DAO will perform.
Consensus Thresholds are based off the number of people who have permission to vote over the action. If you created roles that cannot vote over an action, they will NOT be included in the consensus calculations because they cannot vote.
These consensus thresholds may only be changed in the future by creating a proposal at the DAO, and voting over new thresholds.
Take note of how many members are required to pass a proposition- This is based off of the roles that have permission to vote. If a role does not have permission to vote over an action, they are not included in the consensus.
